About this event
The '5th Umasugi Ipponsugi' is a culinary event held on November 3, 2026 (Culture Day) at Ipponsugi-dori Shopping Street in Nanao City, Ishikawa Prefecture. On this street where you can encounter Noto, selected flavors and Noto's creators gather to provide a special day where every dish tells a story. Executive Committee Chairman Toru Kawashima aims to overcome the earthquake disaster, get the town moving again through the power of food, and make it even more interesting and resilient than before the earthquake. Believing that the 'encounters' and 'connections' born through this event will become the driving force behind Noto Nanao's future, the event aims to co-create the finest experience that can only be enjoyed on Ipponsugi-dori together with participants. On the day, it runs from 11:00 to 16:00, with free admission. Applications are also open for vendors and performers, with restaurants, food trucks, and craft artisans from Noto and the Hokuriku region coming together to build the town experience. Performers across all genres are also invited to take the stage at the venue.
