Star Watching: Harvest Moon

About this event

This year's Harvest Moon falls on Friday, September 25. We will closely observe the moon appearing in the eastern sky. Along with the moon, we also plan to observe planets through telescopes. As hot summer nights come to an end, it becomes an ideal season for stargazing. Anyone is welcome to join freely, so please feel free to drop by. On the day, a special program titled 'Harvest Moon' (Chushu no Meigetsu) will also be screened. While looking up at the round moon rising in the clear autumn night sky, the program introduces the moon that has fascinated people since ancient times. Please enjoy it together with the autumn starry sky.
