About this event
Welcoming Yusaku Kiyama, known for hit songs such as "home" and for balancing careers as both an office worker and a singer, we are holding a gender equality awareness lecture & mini-concert titled "The Dream I Found by Facing Myself: Family Bonds that Deepen Child-Rearing." Centered on themes such as living authentically regardless of gender and balancing home life and work, the event delivers a touching lecture and mini-concert. Mr. Kiyama underwent surgery for thyroid cancer at age 36, and despite being told he might lose his voice, decided to pursue singing. He made his major debut in 2008 and performed on the NHK Kohaku Uta Gassen. Having balanced roles as an office worker, singer, and parent of four, while also actively lecturing in the medical field, his experienced talk is sure to resonate deeply with all participants. Anyone is welcome to attend.
