Autumn Tour Grand Sumo: Kahoku Basho

About this event

As part of the Reiwa 8 Autumn Tour, the 'Autumn Tour Grand Sumo: Kahoku Basho' will be held at Toriyasaimiso BLUECATS ARENA in Kahoku City, Ishikawa Prefecture. In the autumn of Hokuriku, the heat of the sumo ring visits the city of Kahoku. This is an opportunity to experience traditional techniques and serious bouts live at the venue. Yokozuna, Ozeki, and many wrestlers from the local area are scheduled to participate, allowing visitors to enjoy performances unique to regional tours. Ticket sales at Yomiuri Shimbun distribution stores will end on September 30, and same-day tickets will also be sold for some seat types. Same-day tickets will be sold starting at 8:30 AM on October 13 (Tue) at the ticket booth near the venue entrance, with payment accepted in cash and by credit card. Gymnasium parking is available at the venue, but due to limited space, carpooling is encouraged. In addition, parking at AEON MALL Kahoku is available, and a shuttle bus between AEON MALL Kahoku and the venue will operate on that day.
