Held annually in mid-November in Kahoku City, Ishikawa Prefecture, the "Kani Crab Battle: Bounty of the Sea and Mountains Festival" is an event where visitors can enjoy seasonal Ishikawa-produced "Kano Crab and Kobako Crab" spot sales, as well as an abundance of seafood and mountain produce. At the venue, crab soup and crab zosui (rice porridge) sales, food stalls, and kitchen cars will delight visitors. Specialty goods from friendly tie-up city Komagane in Nagano Prefecture and agricultural produce from Kahoku City will also be on sale, allowing visitors to fully savor the local culinary charms. It is a festival for buying, eating, and enjoying the tastes of autumn to the fullest.
