About this event
With Tokachigawa Onsen near Obihiro City, Hokkaido as its main venue, the 43rd 2026 Century Run Tokachi Event is a long-ride cycling event where participants can fully enjoy the magnificent nature of Tokachi. The 160 km East Tokachi Loop Course tours through Ikeda Town, Urahoro Town, Honbetsu Town, Kamishihoro Town, and Shihoro Town, allowing riders to experience the vast land of Tokachi firsthand. An 80 km Half Course is also available for participants according to their fitness level. Participation is open to 4th grade elementary school students and older, with elementary school students limited to the Half Course only. The full course target is completion within 8 hours. The event will be held rain or shine; registration opens at 7:00 AM, and the start is at 8:30 AM. The participation fee is 5,000 yen for adults and 3,500 yen for elementary and junior high school students, regardless of the chosen course. Applications must be completed by Friday, August 14, by depositing the participation fee into the designated bank account and submitting the prescribed application form. The event is organized by the Tokachi Cycling Association and supported by organizations including the Hokkaido Cycling Association. Participants are required to wear helmets and lights, and to be prepared to handle flat tires.
