New Year: Horses of Tonpaku Exhibition

In honor of the 2026 Chinese zodiac sign of the Horse (Uma), the Tsuruga City Museum is holding a special exhibition featuring a careful selection of horse-related works. From the museum's collection, fine arts, historical materials, and folk artifacts on the theme of horses are gathered together for a New Year exhibition filled entirely with horses. This is a rare opportunity to appreciate horse imagery, culture, and their historical roles. The exhibition continues into January after the new year, making it an ideal New Year outing with family and friends. Admission is 300 yen for general admission and free for high school students and younger.
