"Heavy Machinery Park in Echizen Ono," where visitors can touch, ride, and operate real heavy machinery, is a hands-on experience event designed to help people feel familiar with the construction and pipe-fitting industries in a fun way. In its 5th edition, the event offers a wide variety of content for both children and adults, such as test rides on wheel loaders, operating heavy machinery to scoop balls floating in a pool, and workshops connecting pipes to run water. Vehicle displays, a children's ride corner, commemorative photo spots with heavy machinery, festival stalls, local sweet sales, and food trucks are also scheduled. As daily special events, soap bubble play will be held on Saturday, September 12, and a clown performance on Sunday, September 13. It is a rare opportunity to experience the power of heavy machinery up close, which is usually hard to see.
