8th Urausu Tomodachi Maranic

About this event

Held in Urausu Town, the 'Urausu Tomodachi Maranic' is a new style of sports event combining a marathon with a picnic. At hospitality points set up throughout the town, participants can taste the abundant agricultural produce of Urausu Town. Two types of courses are available: a short course (approx. 13 km) and a long course (approx. 25 km), allowing participants to enjoy running according to their fitness level and personal pace. A heart- and body-satisfying experience awaits as you run through beautiful nature while savoring local delicacies.
