Held in Awara City, Fukui Prefecture, the "Wakuniko Repair Cafe & Waku Waku Nikkori LOHAS Market 2026" is a two-day event to enjoy sustainable living under the slogan of zero waste. This year's theme is "Re : Kurikaesu Koto (Repeating/Reusing)". On Day 1, the "Wakuniko Repair Cafe" offers an introductory experience of "repeating/reusing", where visitors can repair or repurpose favorite torn or broken clothing, shoes, and other items to breathe new life into them. On Day 2, the "Waku Waku Nikkori LOHAS Market" is a day to enjoy daily life themed around delicious, delightful, and comfortable things. On both days, aiming for zero waste, visitors are encouraged to bring their own tableware and bottles. This event is organized by General Incorporated Association Wakuniko and co-hosted by the Kanazu Forest of Creation Foundation.
