About this event

"AWARAmpic ~Festival of Sports~," a hands-on sports event bringing together Awara City's proud sports, will be held again this year. There is plenty of content for both children and adults to enjoy regardless of prior sports experience. The general opening ceremony begins at 9:00 AM, featuring inter-team competitions, stage events, and various sports trial booths. Equipment rentals are available at trial booths for kyudo (Japanese archery), ground golf, mallet golf, gateball, skateboarding, Shorinji Kempo, badminton, and more, allowing visitors to participate empty-handed. In addition, attendees can enjoy "Flash Run" incorporating parkour, "Animal Athletic Performance Test" which visualizes physical abilities through fitness tests, and the latest activity "SPO-TECH PARK." Pole walking, health checkup booths, Trim Club classes such as yoga and aerobics, and parent-child jump rope classes will also be held. Many popular food trucks will be on-site, making it an event you can fully enjoy throughout the day. Admission and activities are all free.
