AIRPORT-CRIT 2026 FUKUI (Airport Criterium)

Staged on the runway of Fukui Airport, the powerful bicycle road race "AIRPORT-CRIT 2026 FUKUI" will be held. In a special location normally off-limits, spectators can experience up close the excitement of a criterium race where top racers dash past at speeds exceeding 60 km/h. In addition to the JBCF-sanctioned category races representing Japan's pinnacle competition, the "Fukui-Hokuriku Cycle Fest" will be held concurrently for beginners and families with children. With diverse content such as citizen races, "Bambino" for small children, "Mamachari Cycling" for families, and "Runway Walking" enjoyable even without riding a bike, visitors can fully enjoy a full day's bicycle festival. Viewing is free of charge.
