Eging Tournament in Kono 2026

About this event

The "Eging Tournament in Kono 2026," where participants enjoy fishing for bigfin reef squid (aori-ika), will be held along the Echizen Coast in Minamiechizen Town, Fukui Prefecture. Many luxurious prizes—such as local specialties from the Kono district, meal vouchers, and souvenirs—are prepared as participants compete based on their catch. It is an event where you can fully enjoy squid fishing (eging) along the scenic Echizen Coast. Applications for participation are accepted from July 20, 2026, to September 25, 2026. Registration is available via a dedicated application form (QR code) or FAX.
