Let's Ride a Sightseeing Boat: Touring Takahama's Famous Sights - Hazumi Island Course

About this event

A sightseeing boat cruise departing from UMIKARA will be held in Takahama Town, Fukui Prefecture. On this course, you can enjoy an approximately 30-minute boat trip exploring the beautiful scenery around Hazumi Island. You can view scenic Takahama sights such as Meikyodo Cave and Takashima Island from the sea. The operating dates are Saturday, September 12; Saturday, October 3; and Saturday, October 10, with 4 trips operating each day. Departure times are 10:00–10:30 for Trip 1, 11:00–11:30 for Trip 2, 13:00–13:30 for Trip 3, and 14:00–14:30 for Trip 4. Boarding fare is 1,500 yen for adults (junior high school students and older), and free for children (elementary school students and younger). Boarding tickets are sold on the day only near the UMIKARA entrance. Please note that services may be canceled suddenly due to poor weather conditions. Children of elementary school age and younger must be accompanied by an adult aged 20 or older. Payment is cash only. Please arrive at the boarding area 10 minutes prior to departure time. Please note in advance that the boat may sway if waves are high.
