About this event
The '16th Fuefuki Music Festival' will be held from Saturday, November 21 to Monday (national holiday), November 23, 2026, at the Schole Center in Fuefuki City, Yamanashi Prefecture. At this music festival, professional and amateur musicians gathered from across the country will deliver diverse performances over three days, including an orchestra concert, an opening concert, and ensemble concerts. At the opening concert on the first day, attendees can enjoy the 'Sounds of Traditional Japanese Music' played on traditional Japanese instruments such as koto and shakuhachi. During the period, an 'Art Exhibition' will also be held in the lobby featuring eggshell mosaics, mixed media, and works by the Fuefuki City Cultural Association Painting Club, allowing visitors to experience not only music but also visual arts. Rehearsals for the orchestra concert can be freely observed, providing a venue where performers and listeners can enjoy together.
