About this event

"Wine Tourism Yamanashi 2026 Autumn" is an event to tour wine-producing regions in Yamanashi Prefecture and enjoy the entire local area. Grape farmers, wineries, eateries, and shops come together so visitors can experience the unique appeal of the wine region. On the day of the event, local loop buses will operate to make visiting wineries convenient, and participants can plan their own walk around the region using downloadable resources provided in advance, such as the "Event-Day Winery Information" and the "Simple Map & Bus Timetable." At the wineries, you can listen to winemakers, experience the vineyards, and enjoy tastings of various wines (paid and free). Beyond simply drinking wine, you can deepen interactions with local people while engaging all five senses with Yamanashi's natural climate and history, including beautiful vineyard landscapes, winemaking and grape cultivation history, local cuisine, and hot springs. Autumn is a season when grape leaves turn beautifully vibrant and newly released wines can be enjoyed. This event is not an all-you-can-drink event; its goal is to leisurely stroll through the region where wine is made, feel the local land and history firsthand, and find your favorite wine. Since wineries are also active workplaces, visitors are expected to observe proper manners while enjoying themselves. On the day, check-in will take place at the South Exit of JR Isawa-Onsen Station, and participants board buses by showing their dedicated bus ticket (wristband). 13 wineries are participating, centered around Fuefuki City.
