"Wine Tourism Yamanashi 2026 Autumn" is one of Japan's largest wine tourism events, allowing visitors to explore the wine-producing regions and enjoy the entire local area in Yamanashi Prefecture, the birthplace of Japanese wine. In autumn 2026, 65 wineries from Koshu City, Fuefuki City, Yamanashi City, and Kofu City will participate, allowing visitors to enjoy tastings of various wines and interactions with winery winemakers amidst beautiful autumn scenery covered in vineyards. During the event period, regional loop buses will operate for easy travel between wineries, and participants can freely visit wineries by designing their own plans based on maps and materials distributed in advance. The appeal lies in experiencing Yamanashi with all five senses, not only by drinking wine but also through winemaking history, climate, local food culture, and hot springs. Wineries will host paid and free tastings as well as winery tours and seminars, allowing visitors to connect with the winemakers' passion.
