Minobu "Laid-Back Camp" Furusato Festival 2026

About this event

"Minobu 'Laid-Back Camp' Furusato Festival 2026" will be held in Minobu Town, Yamanashi Prefecture, over 2 days on Saturday, November 28 and Sunday, November 29, 2026. This popular event has been held since 2024 in Minobu Town, the real-world model location of the manga and anime 'Laid-Back Camp' (Yuru Camp) created by Afro. On the first day, Saturday, November 28, "Motosu High School Building Tour & Schoolyard Camping" will be conducted at the former Shimobe Elementary and Junior High School, which served as the model for Motosu High School in 'Laid-Back Camp.' Visitors can stay overnight in tents on the nature-rich schoolyard and tour inside the school building to immerse themselves in the world of the series. Food, beverages, and merchandise will also be sold at the venue. On the second day, Sunday, November 29, a special talk show featuring the anime 'Laid-Back Camp' voice cast titled "Minobu 'Zettai Umai' Food Gathering - 3rd Meal!" will take place at the Minobu Town Comprehensive Cultural Center. Sayuri Hara (voice of Chiaki Ogaki), Aki Toyosaki (voice of Aoi Inuyama), Maria Sashide (voice of Ema Mizunami), and Kokoa Amano (voice of Mei Nakatsugawa) will appear on stage, with talks regarding the work and quizzes related to Minobu Town planned. On the lawn area adjacent to the talk show venue, local businesses will sell food, drinks, local specialties, and collaboration merchandise, and admission is free. Model camping gear exhibits and motorcycle displays are also planned, offering an enjoyable experience for fans of the work as well as those looking to experience the charm of Minobu Town.
