On Saturday, October 31, 2026, the 4th Kosuge Maruichi Market will be held at the Kosuge Shrine Lecture Hall Plaza in Iiyama City, Nagano Prefecture. This event was inspired by the Kosuge Market held during the festival of Kosuge Shrine in the Edo period. On the day, a wide range of events is scheduled, including an Environmental Fair where you can learn how to make compost, a live performance of Iizuna Gongen Taiko drumming, and an Evil-Warding Cosplay Contest where walk-in participation is warmly welcomed. As a venue for passing on local culture and fostering new exchanges, it will be a day packed with diverse experiences and fun.
