As part of the Shinshu Yatsugatake Foothills Together! Connecting Project 2026 held in Chino City, Nagano Prefecture, the Summer Harvest Festival will take place. This project is a year-round program based mainly in fields and rice paddies near an altitude of 1,000 meters at the foot of the Yatsugatake Mountains, where participants learn from local residents and experience handmade seasonal living unique to this land. At the Summer Harvest Festival, participants can savor nota-mochi (edamame rice cake) and seasonal ingredients.
