About this event
The 31st Hara Village Yoisho Festival will be held on Saturday, August 22, 2026, in Hara Village, Suwa District, Nagano Prefecture. On the day, there will be plenty of events for children and adults to enjoy, including booth stalls, performances by various groups, and character shows. A 'dancing troupe' parade will also be held during the festival, and applications for participating groups are being accepted. The dancing troupe performance is from 17:40 to 18:50, held in the schoolyard of Hara Elementary School. The overall festival hours are from 13:00 to 19:20, and the venues are the Hara Elementary School schoolyard and the Social Gymnasium. Participants for the nagamochi (wooden chests) and mikoshi (portable shrines) are also being recruited to enliven the festival.
