2026 Toto Exhibition

About this event

At the 2026 Toto Exhibition held at the Azumino School inside Alps Azumino National Government Park, an exhibition by Mobilis Aquarium will be presented upon the invitation of Mr. Takamitsu Ogawa from the Ogawa Art Collection. Handcrafted specimens and taxidermy mounts made by MA staff, along with an exclusively developed Deep-Sea Organism Decompression Sickness Hyperbaric Chamber used for preserving deep-sea creatures, will be on display. While there are no live creature exhibits planned, a rare specimen of the montsuki-itobera (Cirrhilabrus lunatus) collected by MA staff and taxidermied by Mr. Ogawa is scheduled to be exhibited. The montsuki-itobera has only two recorded occurrences in Japan and is an enigmatic deep-sea fish with extremely few display records in aquariums or museums. Please take this opportunity to see the precious taxidermy specimens and unique MA exhibits.
