Roadside Station Yachiho Kogen 2nd Anniversary Thanksgiving Festival

To mark its 2nd anniversary since opening, Roadside Station Yachiho Kogen will host a 2nd Anniversary Thanksgiving Festival to express its daily gratitude. Approaching a cumulative total of 1.5 million visitors in the two years since opening, many family-oriented programs cherishing connections with the local community and producers will be held. At the venue, popular character greetings will take place, where visitors can enjoy commemorative photo opportunities. A 'Children's Fair' for kids and the Garapon lottery draw, which was well received at last year's 1st anniversary event, will also be held. The direct-sales market will host a '2nd Anniversary Special Bargain Sale' offering local agricultural produce and original roadside station products at special 2nd-anniversary prices. In addition, the 'Hang in There Kumamoto! Support Sale' will be held to support recovery from the Kumamoto Earthquake. Inside dining establishments will offer limited-quantity special 2nd-anniversary menu items for 880 yen. Furthermore, the distribution of special commemorative tickets celebrating the anniversary and face-to-face sales by producers in the 2nd-floor exchange space are planned, where visitors can hear directly about producers' dedication.
