About this event
Known as the birthplace of "shinrinyoku" (forest bathing), Akasawa Natural Recreation Forest has hosted events for walking through the park since forest bathing was advocated in 1982. In 2026, it will be held on Sunday, October 4. To commemorate the 70th Forest Bathing Gathering and the 20th anniversary of its designation as a Forest Therapy Base, a limited-capacity premium tour is scheduled for the day before on the 3rd, and a special "Forest Therapy Course" is planned for the day of the event on the 4th. This is an event where you can fully enjoy Akasawa Natural Recreation Forest alongside a forest guide. Details will be announced once finalized.
