Self Discovery Adventure in Otaki 2026

Held in Otaki Village, Kiso District, Nagano Prefecture, 'Self Discovery Adventure in Otaki 2026' is one of Japan's largest MTB off-road race events. Set in a vast national forest, a grueling race unfolds where participants challenge their limits. Starting with the main category 100km (Long) class, courses of various distances are prepared for everyone from beginners to advanced riders to enjoy. Riding specially on the national forest road boasting Japan's longest distance, participants' riding skills and self-sufficiency in extremely harsh environments, such as rough roads with large rocks rolling, will be tested. Since resupply and troubleshooting are at one's own risk, survival skills to carry all necessary equipment and energy food by oneself are also required. On the day before the race, a fun touring led by support athletes will also be held, so even those anxious about suddenly jumping into the race can participate casually. Running through the great nature of Kiso Ontake aiming for an emotional finish, this event is truly an opportunity for 'self-discovery'.
