2026 Red Dragonfly Festival IN Ikusaka

Held in Ikusaka Village, Nagano Prefecture, the "2026 Red Dragonfly Festival IN Ikusaka" is an event set at the village comprehensive athletic grounds that can be enjoyed all day by both children and adults. The afternoon stage events feature a packed program, including the popular Anpanman show, musical performances by the New Three Sharps Orchestra, balloon art performances, and a bamboo dragonfly (taketonbo) flying competition. At the venue, 40 organizations will host 38 booths where visitors can experience unique products and activities from various districts and groups. A "Sticker Rally" allowing visitors to tour the grounds will also be held, providing opportunities to encounter local community activities that one might not usually experience. While there are no food trucks, individual booths will sell goods until the evening, arranged so visitors can spend a relaxing time at the venue leading up to the nighttime fireworks. Thorough measures to prevent drunk driving are being enforced as preparations proceed toward a safe and secure event. In case of rain, the fireworks will be canceled; however, in clear weather, the festival will be a wonderful opportunity to spend an enjoyable time in Ikusaka Village with the eagerly awaited Anpanman show, music, bamboo dragonfly contest, and nighttime fireworks.
