Northern Alps Foothills & Apple Trail Autumn Walk

About this event

A walking event where you can savor the flavors of autumn and breathtaking views will be held in Azumino / Matsukawa Village, where rich nature and scenic rural landscapes unfold. Walk a course of about 6km that winds along the trail of the clear Chigawa River offering views of the Northern Alps mountain range, as well as the Apple Trail colored by autumn leaves. The program allows you to experience the autumn of Matsukawa Village with all five senses, featuring guidance by local guides, commentary by staff from the Chihiro Art Museum Azumino, apple harvesting experiences, and tasting Shinshu's famous freshly harvested new soba. After the walk, stopping by the Chihiro Art Museum to relax is also recommended.
