About this event
Held at Roadside Station 'Hida Takane Kobo' in Takane Town, Takayama City, Gifu Prefecture, the 'Hibata Soba Harvest Festival' offers the chance to taste 'Hibata Soba', a special buckwheat noodle cultivated at an altitude of over 1,000 meters. This buckwheat is characterized by being small-grained yet highly aromatic and flavorful, achieved through spring slash-and-burn field burning and exposure to frost before harvesting. On the day of the event, freshly harvested new soba will be served as hot kake soba, limited to 300 portions. Perfect for pairing with an autumn scenic drive in Hida, this harvest festival lets you fully savor autumn flavors. Held rain or shine from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
