The "Kabanoko Buckwheat Flower Festival 2026 in Tsuki no Ichi," held at Kabanoko Natural Park in Nakatsugawa City, Gifu Prefecture, takes place amid the beautiful scenery of blooming white flowers across one of the prefecture's largest vast buckwheat fields. At the event, visitors can enjoy popular hot air balloon experiences, various workshops, walking tours around the buckwheat flower fields, and more. Additionally, corners selling local farm-fresh produce and specialty goods, as well as food trucks offering delicious gourmet food, will be open to captivate visitors. The event will proceed in light rain, but may be canceled or changed depending on weather conditions. A free viewing period for the buckwheat flower fields is also provided outside the event period.
