Held at the Furuta Shokin Museum in Yamagata City, Gifu Prefecture, "Yamagata Moon Viewing Gathering '26 Banquet of the Moon" is a one-night-only event where visitors can enjoy an elegant moon-viewing tea ceremony and a magical Japanese classical music ensemble performance. You can spend a special time admiring the moon while listening to a performance by Sokyoku Seigensha. The moon-viewing tea ceremony operates on a two-part rotation system, with each part held at different times. In addition to a combination ticket that includes both the traditional tea ceremony (with a choice between traditional floor seating or table-and-chair style seating) and the Japanese music ensemble, single tickets for only the tea ceremony or only the ensemble are also available. Applications are accepted at the museum reception desk or by phone, and advance reservation is recommended. Please note that the museum may be temporarily closed on certain days during the event period for event preparation.
