Mori no Ichi (Forest Market), held at the Amou Pass Parking Lot in Amou, Kawai-cho, Hida City, Gifu Prefecture, is a market gathering natural blessings and local specialties. It will be held from Saturday, October 17 to Sunday, October 18, 2026, from 10:00 to 15:00. Admission is free. In the past, items such as wild mushrooms (if harvested), fresh autumn vegetables, Hida wild herb and herbal medicine products, freshly harvested rice, processed mountain vegetable products from Yamasachi Kobo, handmade wild herb tea from the Kawai Wild Herb Tea Group, tomato juice from Nagao Farm (an organic JAS certified farm), tomatoes from Ikeda Farm, scones made with Hida bran from Nonaka Bakery, Amou Forest original pin badges, Amou Forest photo books, and Amou Forest Mt. Momikuka T-shirts were sold, with an even more enhanced selection expected this year. It is an event where you can savor the autumn flavors and special products of nature-rich Hida City.
