Set in Hichiso Town, Gifu Prefecture, the "28th Lekky Marathon" will be held, taking runners through moderately undulating mountain terrain along the Hatsukawa and Kamibuchigawa rivers. Why not take on this nature-rich course unique to Hichiso, the town of stones? The event features 10km, 3km, and 1.5km divisions, welcoming participants across a broad range of ages. The 10km division is open from high school students up to age 60 and older, the 3km division is open from 5th and 6th-grade elementary students, and the 1.5km division can be enjoyed untimed by elementary students and above. Participation gifts include a T-shirt or bath towel, an invitation ticket to "The Oldest Stone Museum in Japan," and a discount coupon for "Rock Town Plaza," with complimentary tonjiru (pork miso soup) service also provided. On race day, after check-in at Hichiso No. 2 Nursery School, participants start in front of the Kamibuchi Community Center to enjoy running immersed in nature. A shuttle bus from Kamiaso Station on the JR Takayama Line is also available.
