At "Meiso no Mori" (Forest of Meditation) in Yaotsu Town, Gifu Prefecture, visitors can enjoy beautiful autumn foliage when autumn arrives. The avenue lined with dawn redwoods (metasequoia) is particularly spectacular, captivating all who visit. Inside the park, panoramic views overlooking "Jindo no Oka" (Hill of Humanity) and the "Townscape of Yaotsu" expand before you, and walking trails with unique names such as "Meiso no Komichi" (Meditation Path) and "Kotori no Komichi" (Little Bird Path) are well maintained. Relaxing leisurely in the spacious "Ikoi no Hiroba" (Rest Plaza) is also recommended. The peak viewing season is usually from mid-November to late November.
