2026 Mai-chan Summer Festival (Maisaka Town Summer Evening Festival)

A lively, traditional summer evening festival held in Maisaka Town. A variety of performances will be presented, including Maisaka Soran and choral singing by local elementary school students, Tsugaru shamisen, hula dancing, recreation dancing, and a stage performance by singer-songwriter Bemy. Starting at 19:15, Bon Odori dancing will be held to songs such as Maisaka Ondo, Kagayaki Ondo, and Hinokuni Daiko. The traditional raffle lottery for the first 1,000 participants is also popular. At the venue, stalls offering shaved ice, shirasu tempura, yakitori, Japanese sweets, pudding, and more will be lined up, alongside challenge corners such as yo-yo fishing and ring toss. It is packed with fun, including stage presentations by locals, high-energy Bon Odori dancing, and a raffle where you can win luxurious prizes. Stalls with local delicacies like the specialty shirasu tempura and game corners will also be available.
