About this event
The "3rd Odoro Festival" is a new style of summer festival that mixes traditional Bon Odori dance with street culture. Taking place at the Himawari Square in front of Washizu Station in Kosai City, it is an event that anyone from children to the elderly can easily enjoy. In the Bon Odori dance, along with locally rooted songs such as "Washizu-bushi" and "Kosai Ondo", participants can enjoy "Tanko Bushi", "Bungacha-bushi", and "Washisho Ondo". The venue will turn into a beer-garden-themed food stall area featuring dining booths and food trucks. Additionally, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, customers who make purchases at food trucks or vendor booths can participate in a dice challenge game to win Kosai rice. Bon Odori choreography practice sessions will also be held, alongside the "Washizu Station Mini Night Market" running concurrently on practice days. On the day of the event, a surprise "Dazzling Dancer Award" will be presented to those who showcase exceptionally radiant dancing. Feel the early summer night breeze, dance, eat, drink, and make the ultimate summer memories.
