About this event
"Cats" are one of the animals closest to human beings. Starting from the relationship between Nihonga (Japanese-style) painter Fuku Akino and "cats," this exhibition introduces the diversity and allure of feline expressions in modern and contemporary Japanese art. The figures of cats captured by approximately 40 artists with different genres and styles are free, humorous, and sometimes sharp, telling the story of the relationship between humans and cats. Through the cats, this is an exhibition where visitors can fully enjoy the richness of the endless connection between humans and cats.
