Held on Sunday, November 22, 2026, the 'Shimada City Excursion Tour' is a unique trip wishing for 'longevity' by visiting Japan's largest expansive tea plantation and the world's longest wooden pedestrian bridge (Hourai Bridge). On this tour, you can fully enjoy retro trains, tea, and exquisite gourmet food in a single day. A bus tour guide accompanies participants during transit to provide fun and detailed introductions to the highlights of Shimada City, allowing first-time visitors to enjoy peace of mind. Although organized in conjunction with 'Good Couples Day,' participation by friends, families, and solo travelers is also very welcome. The tour itinerary departs from Mt. Fuji Shizuoka Airport or JR Kanaya Station, boards the Oigawa Railway on the EL Sumata No. 1 from Shin-Kanaya Station to Ieyama Station. Afterwards, participants enjoy a buffet lunch at Kawane Onsen Hotel, take a stroll on Hourai Bridge, experience how to brew Shizuoka green tea at Fujinokuni Tea Museum, tour the museum, and shop.
