Speaking of Kakegawa, it is all about "music." Held on Tuesday, September 22, 2026 (national holiday), KBF (Kakegawa Band Festival) 2026 is a free-admission music event. The concept is "Resonance Collective - Chain of Resonant Storms." The whirlwind of music that has resonated for over 10 years aims to chain across generations and create new resonances. Even small sounds, when connected with like-minded companions, can stir up a huge storm, and the resulting chain reaction can transcend barriers of generations and environments. Along with music, the event is infused with the wish to pass the baton forward to make the city a place where people living in the future can live in peace and spiritual richness. On the day, three special stages will be set up on Kakegawa Ekimae-dori Street, scheduled to start at 15:00 and finish at 20:30. Over 40 open-air stalls are planned to open around the venue, offering gourmet food and merchandise. In case of rain, the decision on whether to hold the event will be made at 10:00 on the morning of the event and announced on Facebook and the official website. Details on special guests, performing bands, timetables, and participating stalls will be announced sequentially at a later date.
