Hoshino Resorts Tomamu, a nature wonder resort where you can experience the vast land of Hokkaido, will hold its first experiential event, "Tokoton Salmon Fest," allowing visitors to fully savor autumn's seasonal salmon. The venue, "Hotalu Street," will be decorated exclusively with salmon-themed designs for an autumnal and lively atmosphere. During the period, seven restaurants across the resort will serve a diverse array of specially crafted salmon delicacies, ranging from classic ikura (salmon roe) bowls to event-exclusive creative dishes such as "Salmon Ramen" with a special broth infused with salmon dashi and "Salmon Steak" infused with the aroma of truffle and mozzarella cheese. Furthermore, guests can enjoy pairings with carefully selected Hokkaido wines that enhance the flavor of autumn salmon. You can choose to your taste from white wine that harmonizes with the savory aroma of grilled salmon, rosé wine that cleanly accentuates the rich savoriness of salmon fat, or light orange wine that complements the natural rich depth of salmon. Beyond food, unique salmon games are held daily, such as "Ikura Ball Toss" using balls resembling salmon roe and a "Pinball Game" featuring the life cycle of a salmon, providing engaging fun and smiles for children and adults alike. The venue is adorned with salmon-patterned cushions and decorations, offering picturesque photo spots. A dedicated concept room limited to one room per day, the "Salmon Room," also makes its debut for an all-out salmon-themed stay. Through food, play, and atmosphere, this experiential festival unique to Tomamu lets you rediscover the appeal of salmon.
