Roadside Station Izu no Heso Anniversary Festival

The annual anniversary festival will be held at Roadside Station Izu no Heso (Michi-no-Eki Izu no Heso) in Izunokuni City, Shizuoka Prefecture. Stage events and various booth stalls are planned, and food trucks will also make an appearance. Sales of local specialty products and special bargains on seasonal persimmons, mikan oranges, and more will be available. In past editions, brass band performances by local junior high and high schools, Mongolian goods and costume try-on experiences, Vege-Check (vegetable intake measurement), tourist information booths, and police car and motorcycle displays were conducted. In addition, stamp rallies visiting the roadside station and the river station as well as dance performances may also be held. While further event details are to be announced, it is expected to offer enjoyable activities for families and friends.
