[First Event] MakiCos in Mt. Fuji Shizuoka Airport

About this event

Set at Mt. Fuji Shizuoka Airport and Shizuoka Aviation Museum, the cosplay event "MakiCos" will be held for the first time. It is an opportunity to take special and unusual photos against the backdrop of airport-exclusive photo spots and aviation exhibits. The participation fee includes a 1,000-yen meal voucher, which can be used at eligible stores inside the airport. Reception, dressing rooms, and cloakrooms will be set up on the Mt. Fuji Shizuoka Airport side, and free shuttle service is available between the airport and the museum. Prior confirmation is required for props that look like weapons (such as gun or sword types) and costumes that could be mistaken for actual airport staff. Photography is permitted only within the zoning designated by the organizers, and care must be taken not to obstruct regular users or airport operations. Video recording is prohibited in principle, but short commemorative filming or videos for social media using personal smartphones are permitted. The event will proceed in light rain and be canceled in severe weather.
