The Oyama Town Citizens' Cultural Festival 70th Anniversary Commemorative Performance will be held on Saturday, October 31, 2026 (Reiwa 8) at Kintaro Hall in Oyama Town Comprehensive Cultural Center. Centering on soprano singer Masumi Osada, who hails from the town, highlights from the opera "Madama Butterfly" and the "Masumi Osada Special Concert: With Wonderful Friends" will be performed. Doors open at 12:30, and the performance begins at 13:00. Ticket prices are 3,000 yen for adults and 1,000 yen for children (high school students and younger), with all seats unreserved. Invitation tickets are scheduled to be distributed to elementary and junior high school students in the town. Tickets will go on sale at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 25, 2026 (Reiwa 8) at the Oyama Town Comprehensive Cultural Center counter. Shuttle bus service from Ashigara Station is also being prepared.
