About this event
The "Ichinomiya Autumn Greening Fair" is a citizen-participation event held in a green and natural space alongside the clear stream of the Kiso River. Held annually in October during Urban Greening Month, its purpose is to promote greening activities. In addition to promoting greening among citizens through the sale and distribution of flower seedlings and greening workshops, it promotes park utilization through stage performances by local organizations and sales of local specialty goods. At Twin Arch 138, a gondola boarding tour used for tower repainting work and a project to write commemorative messages on the arch section before repainting will be held. At the Event Square, various hands-on experiences and sales will take place, including "Green Fund" donation activities, a LIVE photo contest, a Kiso cypress coaster-making experience, succulent plant arrangement classes, and moss ball classes. At the Large Lawn Square, visitors can enjoy a Green Stamp Rally with quizzes about trees in the park, seedling distribution, mini tennis experiences, and more. Numerous kitchen cars (food trucks) will also be present for visitors to enjoy gourmet food.
