The Konan Citizens Fireworks Festival is famous in Konan City and neighboring municipalities as a musical fireworks show, and is firmly established among Konan citizens as an "autumn tradition of Konan." It is a fireworks display enjoyed with both eyes and ears, featuring a collaboration of fireworks, music based on song requests from citizens, and lasers. Being held in autumn and featuring musical fireworks launched to requested songs make it very rare, attracting many visitors not only from within the city but also from outside the city and prefecture.
