NHK Symphony Orchestra Concert: Kariya Performance

The highly anticipated Kariya performance by Japan's leading orchestra, the NHK Symphony Orchestra, will be held. Conducted by Kimbo Ishii and featuring violinist Chloe Chua, the program allows the audience to fully enjoy a variety of masterpieces: Debussy's "Petite Suite", Mozart's "Violin Concerto No. 5 in A major, K. 219 'Turkish'", and Bizet's "Carmen" Suite (Kimbo Ishii version). The event is organized by NHK Nagoya Station and the NHK Symphony Orchestra, and co-organized by Kariya City, the Kariya City Board of Education, and Kariya Cultural Center. General ticket sales begin on Saturday, April 4, 2026, at 10:00 AM, with four seat categories available: S seats for 7,000 yen, A seats for 6,000 yen, B seats for 5,000 yen, and C seats (additional seating) for 3,500 yen. Youth tickets (elementary school students to age 29 and under) are also available, offering an affordable opportunity to attend. The venue is Kariya Cultural Center Iris Grand Hall.
