The 57th Obu City Industry and Culture Festival

About this event

Established to promote the industry and culture of Obu City, this major autumn event has continued for over 50 years since starting alongside the city's incorporation in 1970. Commerce, industry, agriculture, and culture from across the city gather under one roof, bustling with many attendees every year. This year, open submissions for exhibition artworks were collected at Medias Gymnasium Obu, displaying works such as paintings, photographs, and calligraphy. The event period ran from Saturday, October 31 to Sunday, November 1, 2026, between 9:30 AM and 4:00 PM (until 3:30 PM on the 1st). Although applications for displaying works have already closed, the event itself serves as a community-rooted celebration of culture and art where diverse talents of citizens gather.
