On Saturday, November 7, 2026, the "10th Obu Higashiura Fireworks Festival" will be held at the Great Lawn Plaza of Aichi Health Plaza Park (Aichi Kenko no Mori Park). Centered around the residents of Obu City and Higashiura Town, this fireworks festival has been created under the slogan "For the community, by the hands of the community." On the day, in addition to the fireworks display (scheduled for 18:00 to 19:00), food and drink booths and festival stalls (15:00 to 20:30) are planned, allowing visitors to simultaneously enjoy fireworks lighting up the autumn night sky and local vibrancy. The venue is a spacious green area where you can relax and watch the fireworks. It is accessible from JR Obu Station by taxi or bus in about 10 minutes, or by foot in about 17 minutes. As congestion is expected, using public transportation and arriving with plenty of time to spare is recommended.
