"Toyoake 1,000 Lights 2026," held at the Sogenji Temple parking lot in Toyoake City, Aichi Prefecture, is a light event where bamboo lanterns are magically illuminated. This event, which has been held since 2023, marks its 4th edition. The illumination period runs for 14 days from November 9 to November 22, 2026, scheduled from 17:00 to 20:30. Vendors for food trucks, merchandise, handmade goods, workshops, and festival stalls are being recruited for the venue, and each booth is required to prepare necessary lighting due to the nighttime setting. Last year's illumination period recorded a total of 9,506 visitors. Applications for stalls on the day of the lighting ceremony have already closed; the information on this page pertains to vendor applications during the illumination period. The event will take place rain or shine, but will be canceled in severe weather. Setup begins at 16:00, and complete cleanup must be finished by 21:00. Cancellations after confirmation incur a 100% booth fee, and no refunds will be issued for cancellations caused by severe weather or other factors.
