Nisshin Children's History Class: 'Time Travel! Great Discovery of Ancient Pottery' (Nisshin City 120th Anniversary Project)

About this event

In Nisshin City and its surrounding area (Sanage area), pottery was actively produced during the Heian period. The remaining kiln site, 'Kaguyama Old Kiln', is designated as a cultural property by Nisshin City. In this class, participants will enjoy learning about local history and culture while touching real excavated cultural artifacts. Through this valuable experience that cannot be found in textbooks alone, participants can deepen their interest in and understanding of their hometown of Nisshin. This event is held as part of the Nisshin City 120th Anniversary Project.
