About this event
A ceremony will be held to mourn those who lost their lives in the last war and to pray for lasting peace. Flower offerings and storytelling by the bereaved families association are scheduled for the ceremony. Additionally, on the day of the ceremony, valuable historical materials borrowed from the town's bereaved families association will be displayed, alongside a panel exhibition conveying the horrors of war and the atomic bombing. Furthermore, an exhibition of works from the Postcard Contest 2026 on the theme of 'Peace' will be held, providing an opportunity to reflect on peace. An exhibition period for these displays has been set not only at the ceremony venue, but also at Togo Town Hall.
